Works nicely, nice smooth slide action, takes a minute to find rhythm with it, but doesn't take long to put an edge.Very light weight, nice camping add.totally satisfied
I have several other knife sharpening systems, but the Wicked Edge Venture system is the best I've used. Pretty much fool-proof (and I've owned and sharpened quality knives for at least 50 years). For the price, I don't think it can be beat. I added the 800/1000 grit plate for a nicer progression between the plate/stone that comes with the basic unit.

This sharpener has been super easy to use for someone like me who isn’t used to sharpening knives allowing someone on day one to get the correct sharpening angle immediately.I’ve been able to use it on a wide variety of knives from kitchen to multitool knives so it’s pretty versatile. I’ve dropped it in the floor a couple times and it hasn’t broken so it’s been durable although I will say that because of its small size it makes sharpening larger knives a little awkward but its still able to handle them.
I was surprised. Easy to use works well n compact. I have the original wicked edge sharpener but it was expensive n takes up a lot of room
I hunt and camp a lot, so I wanted something small that I could toss in my backpack. The WE20 is perfect for my needs. I used it on my kitchen knives as well as my daily carry Spyderco Delica and a Ka-Bar. After heavy use, including processing a deer with the Ka-Bar, it brought all my knives back to a solid working edge in a few minutes.This sharpener shines especially for field touch ups. It is fast, compact, and the guide takes all the guesswork out of the equation. I'm used to whetstones at home, and this is a way quicker method to learn. For a portable Sharpener at this price, i'm very impressed.
